Senior-Level Wastewater/Water Engineer

Town & Country Engineering, Inc. is seeking a Senior-Level Wastewater/Water Engineer to join our Madison office. The ideal candidate would have a minimum of 15 years of experience in project management, planning, designing, bidding, construction, and operation of municipal water and wastewater treatment facilities.  The position is an excellent opportunity to provide a leadership role within Town & Country Engineering.

This Senior-Level Engineering candidate will be involved in a full range of project planning, design, and operational services. Responsibilities will include working with engineers, manufacturers, contractors, and clients on: 

Assessing existing treatment facilities for proposed upgrades to equipment and systems.
Manage and establish work priorities on a daily basis for multiple projects.  
Work independently to evaluate, select, and apply various wastewater/water technologies, equipment, and  
        processes, in order to detect ways to improve performance and compliance with environmental regulations.
Construction and project management.
Attending client meetings and managing clients.
Assist and develop new clients.
Provide mentorship, quality review, and direction to staff.

The successful candidate for the Senior Engineer position should have the following requirements:

A minimum of 15 years of experience in wastewater project planning, design, and construction.
Knowledge of the wastewater industry and technology trends, including all aspects of treatment systems from
studies through construction, including o
perator assistance.
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Environmental Engineering.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills and be capable of working efficiently with clients,
contractors, regulatory agencies, and internal staff.
A current Wisconsin P.E. license or the ability to obtain one within 6 months.

Preferred Qualifications:

20+ years of experience in the water and wastewater engineering fields.
Master's degree with wastewater emphasis.
Extensive knowledge and experience in the water engineering field.
Marketing experience
